I don't know. We weren't exactly getting along when he went and did that. Regretted it, of course. The bastard nearly killed him, and I'll be honest, I'm not sure how Maze was able to save Amenadiel. He'd been stabbed with one of her blades, something that bastard was able to get his hands on somehow.
